Responsible Sourcing & Supply Chain Policy

Last Updated: September 30, 2026

At Auvelle.co, we believe that fine jewelry should be created with consideration not only for beauty and craftsmanship, but also for the people, materials, and communities connected to its creation.

We offer fine jewelry featuring natural diamonds and lab-grown diamonds, including custom and made-to-order designs. Our responsible sourcing approach focuses on the diamonds, precious metals, and other materials used to create our jewelry.

We seek to purchase materials through legitimate and responsible channels and to work with suppliers who share our expectations regarding ethical business conduct, respect for human rights, and responsible sourcing.

1. Our Responsible Sourcing Commitment

Auvelle.co is committed to taking reasonable steps to understand and manage the sourcing risks associated with the materials used in our jewelry.

This includes natural diamonds, lab-grown diamonds, gold, silver, and other precious metals or gemstones where applicable to a particular product or custom order.

We seek to purchase these materials from legitimate sources and expect our suppliers to conduct their activities responsibly and in accordance with applicable laws.

Where appropriate, we may request supporting information or documentation concerning the source, specifications, or supply chain of materials purchased for our jewelry.

2. Diamond Sourcing

Auvelle.co offers jewelry featuring both natural diamonds and lab-grown diamonds. We seek to distinguish these clearly in our product descriptions and customer communications so that customers can make informed purchasing decisions.

Natural Diamonds

We seek to purchase natural diamonds through established and legitimate supply channels.

We do not knowingly purchase natural diamonds where we have reasonable grounds to believe that their trade is associated with the financing of armed conflict.

We expect our natural diamond suppliers to follow applicable requirements and responsible diamond-sourcing practices. Where appropriate, we may request supplier declarations, sourcing information, or other supporting documentation.

Lab-Grown Diamonds

We seek to work with established suppliers who accurately identify their diamonds as laboratory-grown and provide appropriate product information.

Jewelry containing lab-grown diamonds should be described accordingly. We do not knowingly represent a lab-grown diamond as a natural diamond.

The availability of grading reports, supplier documentation, and other diamond information depends on the particular stone and product. Customers with specific documentation requirements should discuss these with us before placing an order.

3. Conflict Diamonds

Auvelle.co does not knowingly support the trade in conflict diamonds.

We expect the suppliers from whom we purchase natural diamonds to take reasonable measures to prevent conflict diamonds from entering their supply chains.

If credible information indicates that diamonds supplied to Auvelle.co may be associated with an unacceptable source, we may request additional documentation, investigate the concern, suspend further purchases, or discontinue the sourcing relationship.

Our approach is to assess credible concerns and take action appropriate to the nature and seriousness of the identified risk.

4. Precious Metals

Auvelle.co seeks to obtain the precious metals used in its jewelry through legitimate commercial sources.

Depending on the product or custom order, these materials may include gold, silver, or other precious metals identified in the relevant product specifications.

Where appropriate and reasonably available, we may consider information supplied to us concerning the origin, processing, trading, or responsible sourcing of these metals.

We do not knowingly purchase precious metals where credible information indicates that their extraction or trade is directly associated with serious human-rights abuses, unlawful activities, or the financing of armed conflict.

5. Other Gemstones, Where Applicable

Where a product or agreed custom design includes colored gemstones or other stones, we seek to purchase them through legitimate and established sources.

The availability of origin and sourcing information may differ depending on the material and its supply chain.

Where a sourcing concern is identified, we may request additional information before purchasing or continuing to purchase the material.

6. Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas

Auvelle.co recognizes that increased sourcing risks may arise in Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas, including areas associated with armed conflict, serious human-rights abuses, illegal mining, corruption, or other significant risks.

We seek to exercise appropriate care when materials are known or reasonably suspected to originate from, or pass through, such areas.

Depending on the circumstances, additional review may include requesting information about a material’s origin, supplier, transaction history, or sourcing practices.

Where a significant risk cannot be reasonably addressed, we may decline to purchase the material or discontinue sourcing from the relevant supplier.

7. Human Rights & Ethical Business Practices

Auvelle.co supports respect for internationally recognized human rights throughout the jewelry supply chain.

We do not knowingly source materials from suppliers where we have credible evidence of involvement in forced or compulsory labor, child labor, human trafficking, torture, cruel or degrading treatment, serious or systematic human-rights violations, or widespread sexual violence.

This commitment also extends to credible evidence of involvement in war crimes, crimes against humanity, genocide, unlawful support for armed groups, bribery, serious corruption, or other serious unlawful conduct.

Where credible concerns arise, we may investigate and determine whether additional documentation, corrective action, suspension of purchases, or termination of the sourcing relationship is appropriate.

8. Due Diligence & Risk Assessment

Auvelle.co seeks to take a risk-based approach to responsible sourcing.

The nature and extent of our review may depend on the material, supplier, geographic origin, available information, and seriousness of any identified concern.

Where appropriate, our review may include identifying the supplier, reviewing available business and sourcing information, requesting declarations or supporting documents, and considering known geographic or material-specific risks.

We may also review available origin information, investigate credible complaints, request clarification or corrective action, monitor a supplier where elevated risks have been identified, or suspend or discontinue sourcing when a serious concern cannot be satisfactorily addressed.

The extent of these checks may vary according to the circumstances and the information reasonably available.

9. Documentation & Transparency

Where appropriate, Auvelle.co may request or retain records relevant to the materials used in our jewelry.

These records may include purchase invoices, supplier declarations, diamond grading reports, material specifications, provenance information, transaction records, or other commercially available sourcing documentation.

The availability and detail of this information can vary between individual diamonds, materials, and suppliers.

We do not represent that complete traceability—from a natural diamond’s mine or a lab-grown diamond’s production source through to finished jewelry—is available for every product unless expressly stated for that particular item.

Any statement about a specific diamond report, certification, or origin should be understood as applying only to the product or material expressly identified.

10. Custom & Made-to-Order Jewelry

Auvelle.co’s responsible sourcing principles apply to materials purchased for custom and made-to-order jewelry as well as other products.

Materials for a custom piece may be sourced according to the customer’s agreed design, diamond type, stone specifications, metal selection, budget, and other requirements.

Customers should confirm whether they require natural diamonds or lab-grown diamonds when discussing a custom design.

Where a particular grading report, origin information, or other supporting documentation is important to an order, customers should discuss those requirements with us before materials are sourced.

11. Responsible Sourcing Standards

Our responsible sourcing approach may be informed by principles reflected in internationally recognized due-diligence frameworks, including relevant guidance developed by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).

We also recognize responsible business practices and guidance promoted within the jewelry industry, including standards associated with the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC).

References to these organizations or frameworks do not imply that Auvelle.co holds certification, accreditation, or membership, or that its practices have been independently audited against their standards.

Any specific certification or membership claim will be stated separately where applicable.

12. Addressing Sourcing Concerns

If Auvelle.co identifies credible evidence that a supplier or material presents a significant responsible-sourcing risk, we may take action appropriate to the circumstances.

This may include requesting further information, obtaining supporting documentation, seeking corrective measures, temporarily suspending purchases, or discontinuing the sourcing relationship.

Our objective is to identify and address material risks while improving responsible practices within our supply chain.

13. Reporting a Concern

Customers, employees, suppliers, and other interested parties may contact Auvelle.co with genuine concerns regarding material sourcing, diamond origin, conflict diamonds, human rights, forced or child labor, ethical business practices, bribery, corruption, or other potential breaches of this policy.

Reports should include sufficient information to allow us to reasonably review the concern, such as the relevant product, supplier, transaction, or supporting documents where available.

14. Ongoing Review

Responsible sourcing is an ongoing process.

Auvelle.co may periodically review and update this policy as our business develops, sourcing practices change, applicable requirements evolve, or relevant industry guidance is updated.

We may also review individual supplier relationships when credible information indicates an increased sourcing risk.

Our Commitment

At Auvelle.co, our goal is to create jewelry that customers can choose with confidence.

Whether a piece features a natural diamond or a lab-grown diamond, we aim to combine thoughtful design and craftsmanship with responsible business practices and careful material sourcing.

We will continue working toward greater transparency, accountability, and responsible sourcing throughout the supply chain behind our jewelry.
